Well first off i like to say it is really nice to be back in a f150 after selling my first 2003 f150 which i missed greatly just had to get back in a f150.
My question though my new truck needs tires and i am planning on putting 285/75R16 on it. I know i have to get a tuner to correct the speedo. My main focous for the tuner is to correct the speedo. My plans for this truck are only oversized tires and just swapping out the muffler and using the stock piping. Very simple nothing crazy. Also am looking to run jus the canned tune. With that being said which tuner would be the best for me I have been looking at the SCT and the EDGE but am open to more. I want the best tuner that wont cause any problems.
My truck specs are a 2002 Ford F150 5.4 V8 3.55 gears with limited slip in the rear.

Look into an SCT device that can handle custom tunes....no you won't really need them but they are better than canned tunes.....

i have just purchased a sct tuner that have the three canned tunes does this sound as a good decesion for me? i plan on running on the lowest fuel rating and just changing the tire parameters to correct speedo

 

Yes it sounds good, but in my opinion there's nothing like custom tunes.......
