Edge, back in the beginning recommended adjusting the idle in their canned tunes to 750-900. Mine were at about 800.

Nope, idled nicely. With my custom tunes, it's at about 750.

lol i might set mine at 750 as well bluejay. is there just the idle speed that can be adjusted? i noticed mgd talked about two different idle sets. but when i go in to adjust it will it say 750 or like 75? im in the KR because of the heated seats for today, but ill check it out when i get home. i need to put it on towing to haul some cows to the sale so it'll be a perfect test with the new programmer

On the Edge evo/PHP gryphons the idle can be increased or decreased by *I think* 100 RPM. I haven't messed with it in a long time. I also think it will not let the truck idle below 600ish, or at least mine doesn't. I think mine also idles in the 650 area.

If you have an Edge or Gryphon, there is just one place.

i actually read book like i should have when i first got and set my idle speed to 150 which translated to about 750 +/-. kinda hard to tell since its so cold and the truck idles real fast anyways when first started. but i love the fact that at a stop light it feels ready to go like BlueJay and it sounds a lot better just sitting there and it doesn't jerk when it goes into gear like it would if it was idling too fast.
