i have the diablo predator on my 2002 f150 5.4..... i was wondering wat i colud modify on the tuner to get more mpg or to improve tranny... i was thinking of lowering shift points and maybe adding line pressure to tranny... their is so many options on there just wondering wat could help thanks!

 

Id start with shift pressure adjustments to get it shifting how you like.
Lowering shift points wont help, as you'll be working the engine harder to accelerate at lower RPMs. Tuning for mileage beyond the canned tunes is tough, and generally requires changes beyond what a the handheld can do, as in a custom tune.

 

ok thanks mike! how much will a custom tune cost me? and is there a way i cld get an 87 octane tune then or is 91 what is best/needed... thanks!
