Okay.

If you go the Edge/Gryphon upgrade route - go here: http://www.gopowerhungry.com/_ordering_info.shtml

If you are interested in SCT's products, go here: http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...=226&parent=66

VMP (Justin) can deliver both device & tunes very quickly - PHP is going to be a bit of a wait.

In either case you need to provide some info, and of course yer personal tuning preferences. It takes no time at all really, and both shops offer great customer service if you have questions.

PHP is a bit of a wait but I had my custom tunes in two weeks. But the Gryphon 87 tow tune is good to run on while you wait. Really makes it go. My opinion is to send the Edge back if it came from Amazon or something and get a Gryphon. Custom Tunes are $30/EA if you order a Gryphon (converted Edge) from them or $60/EA if they covert your Edge plus they charge you a $25 fee for case change.

See the links:

If you send your edge to PHP and pay for the upgrade, ?I did this with my old evo before I upgraded to the Gryphon CS and it took bill around 3 weeks and had the tunes all installed on it and I agree with everyone here I have the 87 perf tune and love it. I use it as a daily driver.

i was checking out that site. 85 bucks still aint bad if its as good as you all say it is. i wouldnt like not having anything for 3 weeks tho. another question. could i load just the transmission one onto a 5.4 and take it out and put it on my truck? or does it have to stay connected to a specific truck/motor?

The tunes in an Edge can be used on one truck at a time. It can be used on multiple trucks but any truck it is on must be returned to stock before it can be used on another truck.

It's the only place to have an Edge product custom tuned.

done some tests and so far i got 83 mph 16.3 secs in the 1/4 mile and 8.8 secs in the 0-60. keep in mine its a leveled 4x4 with 285s and only a 4.6 lol im doing the gotts mod this weekend and testing again. i did the 0-60 twice and the 1/4 mile once so times might could get a bit faster. who knows? lol are these times any good considering the truck?
