Getting a Dyno economy tune from a friend

A friend of mine just bought a dyno programmer, his mustang got an extra 50 hp and 6 mpg. He offered to tune my truck with the economy tune, and the extra mpgs wouldnt hurt at all. Does any one see there being any issues?
Thanks guys I appreciate it

I really doubt that those numbers are accurate.
I would not let a friend unless he is a major tuner, hook anything up to my vehicle. Get angry at me if you want, make excuses for him if you want, but I believe you would be making a hell of a mistake if you let this person even try to work on your vehicle... you asked so I responded.

There is one way and only one way to get a DYNO tune, and that is on a chassis dyno.

Im not going to get mad about any thing, its the reason I posted this. So what would be the difference with buying the dyno tuner/programmer myself vs having him use his, or are both not so great for the vehicle? Id just love to get some more mpgs so its something id like to learn a little more about
Thanks again

Can you post up any additional info on this product? Like manufacturer, software, where or who your friend purchased it from..........
