My edge cs is showing the trouble code p1602 when i read dtc's. I researched and found it means Immobilizer module-(PCM) communication fault. What do I need to do about this? Is it something to worry about?

My truck runs fine, only thing is my speed on my edge wont calibrate, but it hasnt since I got it. would this code have anything to do with it?

 

Call edge tech support.......they need to know about this.

 

i have the same thing that is coming up on mine and i just installed it less than 40 min ago...im about to send the damn thing back. its giving me that and a p1000 error. did edge tech support get the problem fixed for you?

 

The p1000 is a pcm relearn code and it can only be cleared by driving the truck....
This code happens when the truck is put back to stock....

Run the update on it and you should be fine. I had the code for a week before I ran the update and it's been since march and I haven't seen it since
