So I've been doing a little research and I've come up with this so far down below. just to set some variables i really don't care much for touch screen display 0-60 time 1/4 mile time 60 ft ect. ect. just want the gains of ponies and torque. i just want a few opinions from the blue oval family that have some experience with this kind of an upgrade, and to be as reasonable as possible. thanks

in all honesty tho, pick a tuner that you like, then get custom tunes. you'll be happier that way.

 

yea some peeps back at home were telling me that and totally understandable and im all for that. i personally wanted to go with hypertech's max energy bcuz its simple plug in load and done and fairly priced. but i also read on hear on other threads that hypertech is bad for f150s some say they are not go with edge and edge is garbage and so on about sct and diablo. but like i said i just wanna hear opinions and i appreciate yours

 

no edge for diesels...goto PHP's website (custom edge)or Troyer's website (custom sct) and check those out. everyone that has a tune from either company is very pleased. They also dont just tune for max power, but also for longevity of engine life. Just because you pull a ton of power out an engine doesn't mean it will last.

I haven't had experience with anything but my Edge so far. I really like it, but I have nothing to compare it too. Eventually I want to get an upgrade to a Gryphon with custom tunes.

 

The Predator will fit your bill perfectly, and comes at a sweet price too
