Free Programmer?

I remember reading somewhere that one of the companies that makes programmers would give you one of theirs for free if you would let them use your vehicle as a guinea pig if they didn't already have tuning available for your vehicle.

I'm willing to give it a shot with my '11 FX2 5L that should be here soon.

If I remember correctly, the company is in FL and will give you a loaner car while they've got yours for a week or so.

I'm planning on being in FL for the month of Feb and I'm kinda curious.

Anyone...?

When programmer companies are developing a new programmer sometimes they'll give them away or sell them at a reduced price......
It's called beta testing.

You'll have to keep constant watch on their websites or get on their email list.....or......know someone to get one....sometimes the process can be a PIA due their need for the testing data from the programmers memory and issues it may have+might cause......

I got you covered.

Gimme a couple days with it, and I'll set you up with a FREE dyno tune and a FREE Trinity.

Let me know....

edit: I do have a loaner vehicle, but scheduling it around someones vacation is not a reality. We really need to work with locals for that reason. Sorry, I should have read the whole post, i got excited when I saw 2011 F150 5.0!

Thanks anyway Mike. Maybe when the timing's a little closer, we'll see if it works.

Now that the dyno's up and running, Bill will be looking for trucks to beta test. Since the holidays are coming up and things will be a bit crazy, I imagine he'll post about which trucks he's looking for after the first of the year.

Just got word that we'll be looking for 4.2L F-150s (04-10) to test as well as International DT444 and DT466 (99 and later).
