Difference between xcal 3 performance and tow tune?

I've had a VMP tuned xcal 3 for a while on my '07 4.6 Screw and I've always used the performance 87 tune. What is the difference between that and the 87 tow tune? If I used the 87 tow tune around town with no trailer would I feel a difference? THanks.

Performance tunes are usually good for mid to higher rpms.>> top end.

Tow tunes are usually good for low end grunt off the line.>>bottom end.

Each of them incorporates different shift and torque strategies......

Sometimes the afr in a tow tune is a little richer than a performance tune also of the same octane....
