Issues with new SCT programmer...

I ordered a SCT X3 with 3 custom tunes for my 08 F150 FX4 and cant load anything. Once I hook it up to the ODB port I get this message "init filesystem... filesystem not found please reload it." I tried with both ignition on and off. This happen to anyone before - am I doing something wrong or is the programmer defective?

I tried hooking it up to my laptop and I get that same message but was able to clear it and saw I had the three tunes on the programmer.

Any help is appreciated I already installed the mods and didn’t want to drive the truck home without loading the tunes. I already e-mail the guy I ordered it from but probably won’t get a response since its a holiday weekend.

You will need to contact yer tuner to resolve this - or, SCT themselves, perhaps ...

It ended up being an easy fix. I had to reinstall the firmware then upload the files. Justin sent me the three custom files so I could re-upload them on the programmer. Now it works perfect - what a differance with the tune!!

A tuned truck is a pleasure to drive, isn't it?

Is it going to smoke everyone at your local drag strip? NO. But, it DOES get rid of most all of the little annoying "quirks" that Ford built into the system and, that get your attention when you want to do something important, like pass someone.
