alright so ive been thiniking bout adding a cai and a edge evo i got a 97 f150 2v so would i still run lean or is it just the 3v?? also alot of ppl say you dont get any gains when you add a tuner with a cai.. is this true?

 

Any cai can cause a possible lean condition.
Then ones really prone to it are the ones with the slot style MAF type senser.

If anything do the Gotts mod for your year truck.

Stay away from the edge evo also for your year truck its known to have a cable issue. If possible go with the edge CS and Gotts mod.

If you really need to have a cai and a tuner go with one that can have custom tunes or look for a thread by superchips the programmers they sell now can have a tune that supports cai's.
