so since i have the 4.2, what i really should do is get like 500 and just basically plaster my truck with them! lol. in reality i like to have balance. i want one on the tailgate, and one on each side beneath or above the f150 symbol. heck im the type that when i put a cd in its case it has to be straight. so it would bother me.

thanks tarajereme, i appreciate it. in other news i didnt receive my VMP'ed SCT yet, which sucks because i am driving back to PA which is 1450 miles one way. i was hoping to get the SCT before i left so i could use the 87 performance tune for the trip TO PA, run either the 87 or 93 performace tune at the track just to see how much it helps my 1/4. and then on the way back to CO i wanted to use the 87 economy tune to see how much better it is than the 87 performace tune. but guess thats not happening. thats just always my luck. i am leaving on the morning of the 6th and not coming back until the 20th or 21st. that just blows. my friend was also thinking about getting a tuner but he is cheap so i would have had to have it when i go to PA for him to see the difference it made, then if he thought it was pretty good, he might get one. i have been trying for over a year to get him to get an intake and at least a magnaflow muffler on it. but he traded it in for a 06 5.3L Z71. so now i gotta start all over again lol

there is no difference between the two. the timing is adjusted and thats it. you'll gain about ~.4 mpg on a 87 street tune with careful driving, and that can be overcome with a slight headwind or a hot day. if you paid for an 87 economy tune on a stick shift, you wasted your money

oh well. actually i JUST got the tunes emailed to me today. loaded up the 87 perf tune and its almost like how it was back in PA (in CO right now). right now everything is fine except i gotta fine tune the speedometer, its running a tad higher than it was. but no O/D off light flashing like last time. actually the most noticeable power gain is when im in 4th gear. also the 100mph speed limiter is gone it saw 110 for the first time today. was gonna go hihger but remembered the tires are only rated for 108. gonna try the economy tune tomorrow and the 93 perf tune later on.
