I had 3.55 in my 2007 with no complaints other than when it was completely loaded down off road.

If not, you contact the manufacturer and they give you an upgrade to recognize the new HEX. However, if you have custom tunes, written for your truck, it is HEX code specific. If there is a reflash at the dealer, those custom tunes will need to be rewritten. This is the case with all of them except possibly the Diablo tuner, and it's a totally different animal, apparently.
Perfectly explained, Jim!

Although, I wonder about the Diablo. I believe it's kind of a "hybrid", somewhere in between canned and custom. I know Edge has approached Bill about "customizing" canned tunes for CAI's and he's refused, because they're not really "custom" (in his opinion). If you have a canned tune "adjusted" for mods, like CAIs, then a flash wouldn't matter. I think that's what the Diablo has to offer. It sounds a perfectly reasonable approach to me as long as you are clear about what you are offering, and I think Diablo is.
