Just want to know what your thoughts are on the Bully Dog Programer for the 2004 F150 5.4L......not sure what to get. i can get a bully dog down the street but i cant seem to find any other programers.

 

You should be able to find others. SCT, Edge and DiabloSport are three brands that have an established following on this forum. If you can't find them locally, you can probably get them cheaper through internet sources. Try doing a Google search.

As Jack and 88 said, Edge, Gryphon, SCT, and Diablo are a lot better choices than Bully Dog.

I would also recommend custom tunes. The sticky at the top of the forum explains the difference between canned and custom tunes.

 

after following all your advices, looks like i might go with the diablo trinity.
