If you take it to a Dyno they will generally unplug one of the O2 sensors and plug in an A/F sensor to monitor it while on the dyno.

As far as other things to monitor to check performance I don't think there are any on the tuners.
Yes you can.

Haemon:

You need to buy/beg/borrow/streal a wideband. A couple/few datalog sessions and with the dyno savings you can almost justify the expense

Datalog as per the detailed instructions TP should have sent you (you can ask for that doc via email right now if you already do not have it). The docs include ALL the parameters TP needs to see to check yer tuning.

You can datalog on-road in second gear as many times as you want ( it's what I do).

Send him the results.

Thanks MGD, I thought there was a way...... my first step would be getting my Tunes from Troyer, something that I'm beginning to think is impossible/not going to happen. I'm not usually an impatient person, but enough is ****ing enough you know. I'd say something to Mike himself but from my understanding it would be falling on deaf ears.

My gut feeling is that Mike really doesn't want to do mail order tunes anymore. His shop is so busy that he doesn't need the business but he just can't say no to it. He choses instead to write tunes in his free time (which he has very little of) between projects and sends them out when he can to people that are willing to wait. I know he is one of the best tuners out there for our trucks but I would not wait that long. If I had to have his tunes I would drive down and get them. If that were not an option I would go with VMP or one of the other tuners. Mike is only shooting himself in the foot while he tries to make everyone happy.

Norm, that makes sense. There's no better way to get a tune than for the tuner to actually have your vehicle and putting it on a dyno.
