Edge shutting off!

Edge shutting off!
I purchased my edge about 8-10 months ago and it has worked perfect up until the last month. Sometimes it shuts off and i have to jiggle the cable where it plugs into the obd2 port. I remember that there were problems with the cords for the 97-03 how do i go about getting a new cord or is there a bigger problem?
