Does adding headers mean more custom tunes?

I'll keep it safe and get some custom tune tweaking done.
Now I just need to buy the headers and install them, after the tweaked tunes are uploaded to the my Edge, that is.
Long-Tube Headers historically will cause a slightly lean condition due to the improved scavenging of the cylinders and subsequent (small) rise in volumentric efficiency. Looking at your existing tunes I really don't think there would be a problem, but considering that you're combined with high flow cats you might want to go ahead and have some minor tweaking done on the files just to keep things safe.
Now I just need to buy the headers and install them, after the tweaked tunes are uploaded to the my Edge, that is.

Yeah, I know. I'd order them and have them sitting on my computer before I install the headers.
This whole LT header idea is a 'just to be sure' kind of thing. I may not even get the headers, but if I do I wanted to know what I'd need to get done if I did get them.
May help others as well.

I knew that from another post a while back. I was just having fun in my usual twisted manner. Congratulations though, to her and to you. It's pretty neat when we finally "launch them" from the nest.

That's how I look at it too, flying from the nest to their own. Their nest is only a block away though.

But I also wanted to know "when" a lean condition would exist = (RPM,TPS, MAF blah blah). The 2 valve is different from yours, - mine would be lean @ WOT. The 3 valve has a different calibration of course, seems to be more critical from what I gather.
Your doing the right thing IMO.
