Wow awesome deal! I will be jumping all over this one. Is the wait time still between 4 to 6 weeks to get custom tunes?

I'm ready to upgrade too but have been waiting to know everyone was back in the office and the backlog was gone? Wait time with 1 custom tune?

I Litterally just bought an edge evo last wed, and received it on friday. It's already installed and I'm testing to see what my mpg's look like after this first tank.

What is a Gryphon? How do I buy it? Is it just a Mail order tune? Do I get any kind of tuner?

Do they make one for the '01 truck?

It is a rebadged edge evo that has the ability to accept custome tunes. Take a gander at php's website. Between their place and this one you have approx a week worth of reading and it will cover pretty much anything you ever wanted to know about them.

I've been thinking of a tuner for a while now, but still not sure how it works for custom tunes...despite all the posts here. For example, lets say I order a tuner and get a custom tune for my aftermarket mods, such as exhaust and intake. Now I'm running my tuner with my custom tunes, great. But now I decide to go with taller tires, and I add long tubes. Do I contact the programmer and have them rewrite my old custom tunes, or just give me additional custom tunes? And how many times could this be done? When I download emailed custom tunes to the tuner, does it erase and rewrite the new tunes, so essentially each new custom tune would include all previous mod support?

But now I decide to go with taller tires, Tire and gear changes can be changed by the owner and don't require a new tune. and I add long tubes. Do I contact the programmer and have them rewrite my old custom tunes Yes, or just give me additional custom tunes? No you will get a new set of custom tunes. And how many times could this be done? As many times as you want. When I download emailed custom tunes to the tuner, does it erase and rewrite the new tunes Yes, it replaces the old custom tunes., so essentially each new custom tune would include all previous mod support? Yes each set of tunes will be written for your current set of mods.
Does this answer your questions? Keep in mind that you only need one custom tune. As an example, if you never tow and never use 91+ octane, you would only need a 87 performance tune.

Lemme give you a tip to help you with forums. Read the sticky threads FIRST before jumping into a random thread and asking questions.

From what i've seen on here, the stickys are NOT very informative, and have a bunch of crap in them, or they are locked.

I have not jumped in any "RANDOM" thread and started posting, I have been in the thread that applies to what i'm trying to do. But thank you for you suggestion!

On another note, After this sale is over, the Gryphon will no longer be available? Is it getting replaced with anything similar?
