Will this cause any issues?

Right now my Gryphon has custom tunes that account for a K&N CAI. If I were to take the CAI off and use the DWV intake mod with a high-flow drop in replacement filter would there be any issues?

Your custom tunes should be rewritten due to the MAF being relocated back to the original/stock location.

I guess I should have done a little more searching since I found this just now:

Just curious why you would want to remove the CAI?

I wanted to compare the differences between a real CAI and the DWV mod with a high flow drop-in filter to see if there were any substantial differences in real world driving situations.
