programmer that can change the idle?

yeaa im looking for a programmer that i can raise an idle with.

ive had 3 programmers? all idle to low but i couldnt change it?

might be a dirty throttle body but to lazy to clean it =/

Idle is PCM-controlled. Custom tuning can do this, but it is usually for things like compensating for under-drive pullies and the like..

Clean the TB...

not the point.

SCT products can as well, including the canned X3 SF models... and so can anumber of other devices .....

But - Doing it this way is for the wrong reason ( alternate to maintenance / fix for an ecisting mechanicla issue) and is not the proper way to do it. Let the PCM do it's job ...

He already admitted he was too lazy to clean it, so I simply answered his question.

If he wants to screw up his truck, it is HIS truck, right?

I agree totally with both you and MGD. I wonder what programmers the OP has tried (that CAN'T change the idle)?

sounds like operator error, even the canned tuners I've seen can adjust the idle

Predator or Trinity will do it as well, but agreed, there is another issue.

Is there a CAI on this truck?
