Do I need to unhook my Gryphon when disconnecting the battery?

I need to disconnect my battery tonight for a few minutes (both the positive and negative) and I'm not sure if I need to reload the stock tune and/or disconnect my Gryphon. Any advice? I tried searching but my crappy work computer is not internet friendly at times and it keeps giving me a "page not available" error.

No. It will all be fine when you hook the battery back up. If the monitor does not act normal, unplug it, turn the key on, and plug it back in.

Just to be on the safe side I would unplug it.
You don't need to program your truck back to stock.
Then when your done plug it back in with the key on engine off.

You're getting good advice from both Bluejay and 88racing. But, I have to "elaborate".

Since the Gryphon has been unpowered, the "keep alive" power to the Gryphon's memory was lost. You will need to unplug it and then plug it back in with the key in the ON position so that it will "boot" properly, once you have reconnected the battery.

Your tunes are fine. Nothing happened to the PCM with the battery disconnected. No need to return the PCM to stock.
