another x3 question

what are the spark adjustments for? like what would happen if i increased or decreased the number ?

It almost HAS to be an adjustment for spark advance. If you retard the spark, you'll probably lose power and see reduced gas mileage. If you advance the spark, you MAY see just the opposite, unless you overadvance the spark. If you do that, the PCM will compensate by retarding the spark a bunch to prevent detonation, and you'll be back in the loss of power column.

when you load your tune it's in the adjustable perameters, don't mess with it unless you know what you're doing...

Spark is timing. Most reputable tuners will only give you 1 or 2 degrees either way which should not enable anyone to get into any major trouble.
