I pull a 5K# boat with my 4.6L through mountain roads with no problems and 3:55 gears. It's not a speed daemon but if you're not looking for a hot rod the 4.6 is fine.

 

LOL...well I guess jump was a bad word...more like caught the other guy sleeping or they didnt "stage up"...as much as you can stage a fraking brick..lol I was actually shocked at that 4.6 once I got it to that stage, ran just like a stock 5.4. If I didnt catch them out the hole it was usually an even race, with one or the other getting it by a bumper.
