02 f150 xlt 4.6 auto x4x 220k, wanted to improve mileage and power for cheap, grabbed a used K&N fipk and a superchips 1715 tuner. Installed today, wow what a difference in shifting, much easier to drive. between the two mods throttle response is awesome. I have the 87 performacen tune installed with the 2-3 up 2 notches nd feels good. power about the same but shifts are much better, as is response. Once I finish this tank of 87 i will switch to the 91 performance tune. from what i have heard this one is really noticeable... any opinions on that? Next I will be doing soething with the exhaust. Thinking hack off rear cats, true duals, x pipe, magnapacks, 2.5 inch piping and 4 inch tips. dual exit out the side in front of passenger rear tire... would this setup be loud? i want something that sounds mean but isnt annoying...
