SUPERCHIP ? Yes on no

Hi guys I have a 2000 f150 5.4 and I was thinking about getting a superchip what do u guys think

The question is whether or not you are going to need custom tuning. The Superchips Flashpaq works pretty well on stock vehicles but doesn't offer any custom tuning like the XCal or Gryphon programmers. If you plan to make upgrades down the road, you might look at some other programming options.

No, Super Chips and Hypertech is garbage. Don't skimp on a modification that affects every major component of your truck.

I've had a Superchip chip, the one that connects to your pcm, it worked fantastic for 9 yrs. Then out of the blue, it disabled my truck to not start. I haven't cleaned the contacts to retry, but it sounds like it took a dump on me. If so, I'm getting a Gryphon or SCT later.
