I would prefer the Gryphon. The tunes will be similar and achieve approximately the same thing. The hardware is my big thing. I love the gauges provided by the Gryphon. I watch them constantly as I drive.

Correction: I was thinking the Xcal3. The Superchips is canned tunes only isn't it? There is no way a canned tune compares with a custom tune from PHP.

I had canned tunes(Edge), and they were a great help over stock. I thought I was satisfied. I then got a couple of custom tunes from PHP, 87 Perf and 93 Perf, and there is a lot of difference. A huge difference in shifting and downshifting.

Hey bud, I had the superchips and I now have the gryphon. There is no comparison go with the gryphon and you will be a lot happier. The superchips is a waste of money, it is only designed for stock trucks. The gryphon will get you custom tunes to work with whatever mods you want.
