Going to bigger tire question

Currently running 255/70 17's. Putting on a 2" AS leveling kit. Then I plan on 285/70 17's. Possibly 295/70 17's Have a 3.55 LS rearend. I need to know if there is gonna be that much difference in accelleration or if I'm gonna have to get it tuned? New gears? National Tire and Wheel is 30 Minutes from me, would they retune for larger wheels or is that something I have to do on my own?

I did the same, went from 255/70/17 up to 295/70/17 and didnt notice much at all. Besides, if its that bad when you are mudding, thats what 4Low is for. :-)

a tune won't hurt but it won't replace the need for gears
