Dealer Reflash Edge Evo wasnt returned to stock

I took my truck in recently to get an oil change and at the time the mechanic said the check engine light came on and so he ended up reflashing the pcm and he didnt tell me until he had already did it and my evolution was tuned to tranny only and now i cant get the evolution to return to stock so it can read the new hex key...i know i can call tech support but is there anything else i can do to fix this problem?

I believe your only option is to call them and they can correct it for you but its not free. At least this is what I have read on these forums. Good Luck

I would take the bill back the oil place and tell them to pay it since they flashed it without first asking you.

Call edge and talk to jordan. Tell him it was messed up during a retune and you will have to restore it with key they give you.

ok, if the dealer reflashed your pcm then it is stock. so it will run just fine, edge can fix your evo, and it will be free, they helped me awhile back with my batt. losing power while retuning here is the post. https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...ogramming.html they will fix it don't worry you just have to spend about an hour and a half on the phone.

oh, don't try this unless they tell you to do it which they probably will, but you could just try plugging your evo into a computer and run fusion, and update it.
