Was this ok?

new to the tuner scene here, and been running the 89 performance tune from VMP. had little less than quarter tank left, then filled up with 93 octane today and switched it to the 93 performance tune. even with the little less than quarter tank of 89 left, was this ok? thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. When you run down a bit you may want to top it off again to be safe.

Agreed, there should be enough "slop" in there to take care of the octane difference as long as you don't continually put the engine under heavy load.

I agree with what's been said. There's enough cushion built into the tune.

ok thanks. just checking. i dont liek to run my tank rite to empty. so i waited til littel ess than quater of 89 left then filled with 93.
