After having my LiveWire for over a year, and frustrated that the latest firmware updates were still not making the device fully-functional as advertised, I sent Justin an email to basically gripe about it.

He returned my email, and asked my info, and then sent me three NEW tunes, and some new firmware instructions, and now its working great.

I imagine when things are busy, its harder to get ahold of him, but he actually helped me out a year after the sale...which is rare.

I just wish he lived on my side of the country so I could use his dyno...

 

good to hear he took good care of you. I just placed my order for an SCT X3 with 3 custom tunes from him on the 21st and its already on its way to me! Can't wait to get it. I was stoked to see it on its way so fast. Sure beats a 2 to 3 month wait time!

 

Justin's customer service is great. I emailed him about a problem with one of my tunes about 6 months after I got them, and he sent me a new tune 2 days later.

 

That's it,,,I'm sold. After I install the CAI and exhaust I will save $$ and purchase whatever he uses as a tuner and have him hook my truck up!!!

I make my living in Customer Service, so if someone does me right...they deserve props, and there is no better way to assure future service, than to build momentum for them...He's tuning Cobras forchristsakes...we're bottomfeeders to that tech!

 

Justin uses SCT so it'd be the Xcal3. Where is Tarpon? Justin is located some-place in Central Florida.

 

SuperSlab: I have been well aware of VMP from the Mustang side of things. I'd rank Justin right up there w/Herman from Horsepower By Herman (New England area, but was here in tampa Bay for a short time) or Team JDM in NJ. These three have vast Cobra tuning experience.

FordRacer: Tarpon Springs is on the Gulf side about 15-20 miles north of Clearwater. basically I'm on the other side of the bay from Tampa.
