What happened/ How to fix?

So today driving home from work I was kinda playing around a bit, and ran some wide open passes on country roads here. Now what happenend that im concerned about is at WIDE OPEN when it hits second gear it shuts down almost like you turn the key off, and the edge goes blank? For maybe a second at most, did this every time. The reason im posting here is because it never has done this BEFORE I installed the Edge. Heres what ive got, edge on level 2, WOS at 5100 1-2, 5100 2-3 and 4950 3-4, WOfuel at 1.3 (standard edge setting i assume ive never adjusted). Could it be the fuel is not enough? I do have Magnaflow SI/So exhaust and 33" tires. Nothing else as far as performance mods. i have the tire set and gear set in the program also. Any idea what is going on? It also did not do this when the factory tires were on either, my new tires are only 3 weeks old. Did I not set something right in the program or am I missing an important piece?

I STRONGLY suspect you are hitting the max RPM limit. It needs to be at least 400 RPM above your highest WOT shift RPM, so, set it to 5500. And, I'd reduce the 3-4 upshift to maybe 4600-4500. That's one that puts a lot of stress on things and you don't really want to be winding up too high there.

I would not go much above 5100 on any shift, because you are already at a point on the curve where the HP and Torque are dropping off and I wouldn't go above 5500 max RPM because you start to get Torque Converter ballooning at 5400.

Give this a try and tell us what happens.

Yes, sounds like you are maxing out rpms. As Jack said, you need 400 rpm difference in highest shift point and max rpms.

The tank was full of gas, and the RPMs are set at 5500. 400 above the highest shift point. But I will change it around a bit and let you guys know what happens.

Bear in mind that you're telling the PCM to command the shift at 5,100. In some transmissions it could take up to a second to complete the shift. Your rpm could get to 5,500 before the 1-2 shift is completed. In first gear, you want to set that shift point at least 200-300 lower than where you want the shift to occur. It really depends on the time needed to complete the shift and the acceleration rate of the vehicle. A lighter, faster vehicle will require a greater gap.
