Magnum Performance chip?

Has anyone tried these things?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...A1%7C72%3A1171

For the price if it gives anything might not be bad. I know its not a tuner to where you can change them, but how many actually change them all the time anyhow?

click click boom is what your motor will probably do

if anyone thinks a cheap ebay gimmich will do any good for your trucks ECM tuning then you deserve a toyota or a nissan

I'll pass, a motor isn't worth a few $$$$ so I'd rather be safe than sorry

Any time you see +45 hp and gains of 5mpg, hmmmmmmm something is odd about that

Don't fall for that crap, it looks too good to be true and $24.99, you might as well use the money you were going to spend on it as toliet paper. You should look into a Gryphon, Xcal ect

Lol, i didnt expect those type of gains. Im not that stupid. Just wondered if anyone tried them out and they might improve shift points and acceleration.

Not sure how a resistor would improve shift points with just 2 wires, or acceleration. It it is too good to be true, it probably is. I would not risk my engine for such a low cost for possibilities at a minimal gain. I have a gryphon and love it, might want to look into a true tuner, not something that will fool your ECM to thinking it is colder so it dumps more fuel.
