Exactly!! I just don't buy that that it was a huge coincidence that he requested a refund and got his tunes right away.

Exactly how I feel! Since the truck and the X3 are still separated and will be for almost another month (due to Crystal telling me I was still a ways off in the cue, i will again ask for a refund. It has been to long and now after this coincidence I do not have the same faith in the company.

Best of luck to you getting a refund.

But prove me wrong cause I don't see it happening.

I work in tech support for a software company...."the customer that barks the loudest gets his case moved up to the front of the queue instantly"....That is messed up because the patient person waiting for their case to be resolved gets rewarded by waiting longer...Does not make sense but that is why I am now a "barker".........works every time.....
NO such thing as coincidence.....that was just normal business practice many companies follow.
Hey maybe troyer can hire additional help, even par-time help. If it takes 11 weeks to get the tune out then that means they have that many back orders to fill.. There is that wiggle room for a new hire. I personally would not wait that long for a tune....

Actions speak louder than words! Then you have to decide (since you've already got your tune) if the point is worth making at this point? Especially to all of us that you have never (probably will never) meet.

Even after reading all the "horror" stories of the long waits and personally speaking to them both on the phone, I decided to go with Troyer. Nothing against Justin, I have spoke to him several times and received great customer service but decided that the right thing for me was to go with Troyer.

Just a little curious here so I have to ask, how is it Crystals fault that you do not appear to have your tuner with you? May want to keep it in the vehicle where ever you go in the future. I have never taken my tuner out of any vehcile it was tuned for. Never know when you may need it for what ever the reason, like reading a DTC, changing tunes for any occasion that may arise, and etc..Just a little friendly advice. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

You have waited this long and now have the tunes on your computer so it would be counter productive to attempt to get a refund now. You would then have another wait for different tunes no matter who you went to for them.
Sounds like your attitude over the wait has tainted your thinking. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

This is an incredible thread to say the least.

I am one of those waiting on tunes from Troyer. He had my strategy code on the 27th of MARCH. I contacted them at week 9 and he said my worksheets were at the top of the list, and, that their tuner had been sick, unable to tune for a week or so. Hey, he is human, stuff happens like this.

I am not going to bug the crap out of them for the simple reason, that I don't want them rushing through, maybe missing something.

I am also not going to complain, because I have read for a few years on here about testimonials, and complaints about wait times AS WELL AS how happy people were with the finished product.

If you have been around here for a while, you know Troyer has a long wait time. So, you can't say you didn't know what to expect...

I believe there was a clause in the paperwork you filled out as well, about, no refunds, after the tunes were delivered... I will have to look again.

Good Luck!

I am getting ready to install another supercharger on my expy, I will be waiting for troyers tunes just like everyone else

I currently have tunes from both VMP and Troyer on my vehicles and most people can't go wrong with either one and like many have told the OP of this thread it's his own fault now not Troyers

I did not state it was Crystals fault. She stated that it would be a while between 4-6 more weeks before I will get my tunes. I left the truck, and took the Corolla. HAd I got the tunes, I would have downloaded them first and took the tuner to the truck and uploaded. But I was not going to drive the truck 490 miles when I can just use the car. As for tarajerame, I have no clue what the hell you are trying to state. Maybe if you read a little more and tried to understand what was actually written you would not write such jibberish. Anyway, no return emails, no return phone calls and no return or refund, period. All of a sudden I asked for a refund, within hours I get the tunes, I still rather have the refund (thinking, yes, they may now have rushed through just to avoid the refund) and now NO communication at all. Hmmmmm, something rotten in Denmark huh?
