As far as the OP goes, he is more likely to come back and apologize to Troyer and say they were worth the wait. I am on a winning streak, anyone want to bet this time?

J/k
I hope he comes back and apologizes, then, my wait, will be worth it....right?

Don't bet on it. In this day and age, customer service is number one. If I have a company that treats me well I will return, if not, as they say, business is business. Maybe if I was one of the young whipper snappers still full of **** and vinegar about their trucks yes, but I just want better performance. Had I known of the problems and length of time, I would have bought elsewhere.

WOW !!! Now that's just ridiculous ... If he was able to do them that fast than why the wait of 12+ weeks ... That doesn't make any sense ...

See thats where your problem is based on ordering them in early April I came up with your wait time of 11 weeks. Too bad people like you give Troyer a bad rep when you were at fault to begin with. Your dealer reflashed your truck & Troyer is at fault for that? It does not matter what tuner or company that you go to you have to always have the place not flash your truck. Its simple as that, but I guess simple is hard for some people. I am 100% happy with my tunes and I am glad that I waited.

To bad there are thousands of HEX codes being used on these trucks. And to add to it thousands of drivers who each want different setups.
But you really do have a good idea!
maybe it is diffrent in the diesel world but called and ordered a chip with custom tunes with my engine mods and in 2 days i had it..

Do you really believe that? Sounds like a needle in a haystack to me. Besides from what suzuki said this isn't the first time. I doubt they were right about to send them out.

Mr. truckncrew04 , you do not have the full story so why post any stupid remarks? You have no idea what I was told after the reflash, (she stated there was quite a way to go, another 3-5 weeks) also, 11 weeks is still not 8-10 (or maybe you have a number problem?) and finally if you do not know the whole story of a situation then just keep your mouth shut. Wow , talk about simple!

As for the rest of the people who posted, thanks for your support. It was very funny to see that in a matter of hours after requesting a refund that my tunes came. i have not installed them yet so i will have to post later as for the results. I also received an email from them stating they were "just about to send them out" as Fordracer had stated. thanks again to those who actually think before pressing the keys.

One of the reasons I asked for the refund is that my truck is in NJ and the Xe is at my home in VA. I had to come up here because my parents were not doing well. I will not be back down there until mid july.

Its all about the tuner really. VMP can take his TIME and be done with your tunes in a week. I know most of the diesel tuners (TW, DP, etc) can get you your custom tunes within a few days.

Diesel tuning is VERY different! About 50% of our business is diesel tuning. Bill has written custom diesel tunes for about a dozen years, and as is evidenced by our F.U. (that's Free Updates!) Chip, the same custom tunes can be used on trucks with the same mods. We can get chips out within a couple of days (as long as the customer doesn't have injectors or something that require major custom tuning), too. Gasoline tuning is much trickier due to the Air Fuel Ratio.

I highly doubt they instantly finished the tunes when the refund demand came about. That's just my opinion.

Troyer had sml175's new strategy June 16.

sml175 received his tunes from Troyer June 24.

That is 6 business days; not the 3-5 weeks sml175 was quoted over the phone with Crystal@TP.

It takes a VERY short time to complete a tune file IF you don't have anything else in queue, so obviously this was put as a priority.
