60 more RPM?

You might as well put a hamster wheel on your crankshaft with a rat in there.

Yep you got it!
Stock rpms don't turn the alt fast enough with everything on in the lariat screw and running the udps. Dips to 12.3 and everything dims at idle in drive. So turned up the rpms with the gryphon and now it's ok @ 14v.

That's probably OK. But remember, the "Performance tunes" in the Edge have already "improved" the shift firmness. What you are using is about what Bluejay used (I think) before he got his custom tunes. I tried increasing the firmness and didn't care for the result so I set it back to zero when I had my canned tunes. Firmness relates to how long the clutch takes to stop "slipping" in a shift change. Too much slip can wear things out. Not enough can put damaging stress on your drivetrain. There's a happy medium in here somewhere, and I would not go much above what you have.

With my custom tunes, I now get a "belt squeak" during a WOT shift. I think that's firm enough and my option settings are all zero.

There's a whole thread on Custom Options to the canned tunes. You might try searching using the search string "custom tunes" or "custom settings" (in quotes). I'm too lazy to try to find it right now. It was maybe six months ago?

Yeah Jack I see what you're saying. I'm gonna bump it down tommorow. May just go to 3,3,1 or so. I'm getting a new Evo from Edge (see my other thread) later this week so I'm gonna wait on really diving into the settings until this weekend.
