That's great to hear!
That passing power is great driving 2 lane roads.
Keep us updated.

The truck is shifting a little harder than I like even with the shift pressure turned down on the Xcal3 but that will be a simple fix once I get in touch with Justin. Other than that I'm very happy with the tunes.
sweet. cant wait to get my tunes from VMP! hope i get good results out of it as well, even with my 2000. which 3 custom tunes did you go with?

I went with the 87 performance, 87 tow, and 93 performance. Still lovin' it! By the way, I emailed Justin this morning and had a response within an hour. We're already working on the solution to my shifting issue so I would say the customer service after the sale is top notch as well.

Don't know. Haven't switched it off of 93 performance yet!

Yeah it runs really good on the 93 performance tune. I normally don't dog my trucks as I do my best to take care of them but I'll be honest with you.... I've nailed it a couple times today. Now that I THINK I'm getting over the newfound power I'm going to try and take it easy to see how the custom tune has affected my mileage. I really like the way the power comes on with the VMP tune. If you punch it from a dead stop the truck will take off without spinning too much and once you get rolling it takes off like a bat outta hell. Not to mention the 5.4 sounds awesome during WOT above 5000 rpms. Once I get the hard 2-3 shift worked out it'll be perfect.
