Hello all. I'm new here so bear with me as I get used to this forum.

I recently purchased a used Edge Evolution and I have a few questions.

When I installed the unit it was supposed to show me my truck's hex code. It did not. I had to dig in the settings to find it. How can I be sure this is my truck's code and not the previous owners? Does it really matter? The previous owner said he reset the unit and then updated it. I'm using it on level 2 and it seems to be working fine.

The reason I am asking is I plan on getting a cat-back exhaust system and a CAI system in the near future. From what I've read in other posts, I will need to get custom tunes done on the Edge. And from what I read about custom tunes, whoever does the tunes will need to know my hex code. Am I correct?

FYI - my truck is an '07 F150 5.4.

You are correct about the HEX code.
Your HEX code should be a combination of 7 numbers+letters followed by.HEX.
Php is the only one who does the upgrades from edge to gryphon. Roughly around $25 to upgrade and approx $30-$60 per custom tune and approx 2-4 week wait. You'll get it back with a black case on it and all the tune(s) you ordered will be on it.

You gotta go into your edge menu to get it out. What do you mean confirm?
Post your HEX number up here and we will tell you wether it looks like it or not.
