No, it's just a tube that turns toward the front of the truck and flattens out. The opnning is probably about the same volume as a 3" pipe. Look up Airaid Jr.

The Airaid Jr. is the same as the MIT kit, but they throw in an Airaid Filter.

I found a picture of the MIT on our trucks.


I don't know why I was thinking the MAF sensor would be relocated. I knew the Filter box didn't move. Just one of those days.


edit: I think at some point I convinced myself he had an Airaid CAI. My mistake guys.

Thanks guys for all your input!! I'm just going to wait till everything on their end is back to normal then make my order.

I've had my truck since new in 07 so whats waiting another couple weeks for my programer!!

The 04s and early 05s with the 5.4 3v, had tunes from the factory that were in a near lean condition. Any additional air was a risk of running lean. 06s and up, not so much.
