i know yall get tired of this but is the edge and gryphon the same i remember now that they are not doing the gryphon for the 03's anymore

Yes, you have to send it to them to have it reskinned. The problem is, Edge is continuing to sell theirs even tho there is a manufacturing problem with the hardware. The Gryphon is the same hardware. PHP refuses to sell something that may have a problem.

 

Thanks alot i was just about to buy one on ebay 374.00 free shipping cheapest i found so far just wonder what if i bought it and it had the problems. Would i be screwed or would they be able to fix it? I want the gryphon or the edge because of all the display options the xcal doesnt have that.

 

They think it was a batch of bad product. They have not determined if it is the cable or the unit, but they should have it solved soon, and when they do, PHP will announce that they are selling them again. Probably soon.

I had the Edge and thought I was satisfied. Then got Bill's custom tunes. They are worth the wait.
