what can i change in my edge to help out the tranny?

i have an edge evolution in my 04 screw 4.6 and i'm planning on going with 285's with a leveling kit. want to know how i can set my edge up to make it so the 33's don't hurt the tranny. anyone else got this same set up. i also got a k&n drop in filter and mbrp cat back exhaust if that matters any.

I don't think the tires are going to hurt the transmission unless you "stand on it" every time you take off from a stop, and if you did that, the original tires wouldn't help either.

Having an Edge will let you adjust the tire size so that the speedometer, odometer and more importantly the shift points are correct.

The drop in filter and exhaust shouldn't matter any.

The simple fact is, bigger tires are going to hurt your acceleration and possibly, if their rolling resistance is higher, your gas mileage.

The bigger tires will hurt the tranny without the edge....it will constantly shift, mine went at 67k, the edge or gryphon will firm up the shifts and hold it in overdrive more than stock tunes. I firmed my shifts up to +10 +10 and 0, it has made it feel a lot better and it is better for the tranny
