More, I need more! HP request

Here's what I have. Whipple SC, electric fans, full length headers, Corsa dual exhaust, and I just eliminated the cats. BTW, the SC LOVES it with no cats. A noticable difference.

But here is my prob. I want more HP. Does anyone have any suggestions short of a new motor or nitrous that will add more power?...Thanks guys

well pullies is a bit harder on the Whipple. Im going to try a Lighting 3" pulley and see what kind of boost that makes (once I get a boost gauge) but it should be about 10PSI. However there are some issues that I may have to work out. I would say start with tune and injectors, you should see a good gain.

contact PHP and get a GRYPHON. tell them your set up and i am possitive bill will whip out a killer tune.p.s. dont waste money on a tb spacer or cai. to much cost for little hp gain. cai gets about 8 hp at the most but only if you run above 3500 rpm. i think i would rather spend 300 bucks on somethin better

no no no. dont go that far. a good tune and if you want to go for it, cams and throttle body would let you breath big time. mostly the tune first is the biggest improvement! try it. you'll be happy.

is your truck intercooled???? if not upgrade it, it it already is then upgrade your heat exchanger or get the killer chiller

be careful adding more boost until you have done the supporting mods if you haven't done them already

It is is intercooled, but just the "stock" one that comes with the kit.
I really would rather stay with the 8-9psi. I don't want to blow the motor. The whipple kit came with larger injectors. Think I need bigger?

And to everyone else, any brand or size suggestions for throttle bodies?

Apparently there is not much more I can do with my truck for HP. I have the Whipple kit that came with 39lb injectors and a tune kit. Does anyone know what HP the trans will take?

i would suggest an 80mm throttle body, it could allow nice flow with the pressurized intake.
