Edge programmer problems I think
I have recently installed an Edge programmer on my 2008 F150 5.4, now that is out of the way here is the problem when I get on the gas and really wind it out my truck just shuts down has any one eles had this problem with their truck.
Did you increase the max speed? The truck has a govenor that has to be overridden. Also, if you are talking about during shifts and if you changrd the WOT shift points, you need to set the Max rpms at least 400 higher than the highest shift point.

Is it a max speed issue? How much fuel is in the tank, mine often seems to sputter if near empty and WOT. The fuel shifts to the back of the tank. Or is it an ignition problem? What octane are you running?

I'm puzzled by the OP's statement that the truck "just shuts down". That means to me the engine quits and the vehicle rolls to a stop. Is this what is happening?
Or, is it like Bluejay, suggested - when you reach 99 mph, it won't go faster (which IS the speed limiter), or when you reach a certain RPM, it "backs off" on you (which is the RPM limiter). Both of these can be adjusted upwards, but since the Torque Converter starts to balloon above 5400 rpm, I'd be a little careful about operating it there for any length of time.

Edge issues
Can you be more specific on what your truck is doing?
Is it hitting the rev limiter when you run the RPM's up?
Is your speed restricting you so you can't go faster?
Is it completely shutting off where you need to turn the key again to start your truck? Or, is it something else?
Did you make any custom adjustments on your Edge or are you running a preprogrammed tune?

The only adjustment was to bypass the rev limiter and speed limiter, and adjusted for my tire size which is 30555R20 nitto terra grappler.
No the truck doesnt roll to a dead stop and have to recrank it.
No it does not do it with the stock program.
The truck acts just like it runs out of fuel or air I dont understand I am just a little afraid of doing any adjustment other than really tire size.
If any of you all have any suggestions or settings I would be more than glad to try them.
I need all the help I can get.
I also ordered a Volant cold air intake for it today.

(I know, it's happened to me).The "stock" speed limit is 99 mph. Pretty fast, but I raised mine to 110.
I don't know what the stock rpm limit is. I've set mine at 5400.

The speed is about 30 mph, rpm I have not noticed, now that you ask it might be a rev limiter on the rpm, because it is winding out bad. When it get ready to shift to the next gear that is when it happens.
Reprogram and set you shift points at 5200,5200 and 4800. Then set your Max RPM at 5600. See if that makes a difference. Be sure and set your gears if the default is not correct and reset your tires.

Bluejay's giving you good advice here. Notice the max rpm is at least 400 above any of the shift points. You need it there because, as he has also explained in other posts, as a shift occurs, there is a brief moment where the engine is almost freewheeling, and the RPM rises quickly. If it hits the limit, software is going to shut everything down to protect things. The effect, as I recall, is kind of an on-again, off-again rapid "pulsing" of the engine, and you cant's seem to go any faster. If you back off on the throttle though, the shift will occur and you'll start accelerating again.
My only suggestion would be to set the WOT shift points for 1-2 and 2-3 no higher than 5000, because everything I've seen tells me that the HP and torque start to drop off above that value. (Unless the engine has been tuned specifically for a later dropoff).
