I have a old edge for my 03 and was wondering if custom gryphon tunes will make much of a difference.

Well a little more explaination never hurts either. I love my Gryphon. Waiting for my custom tune to be filed, but running the canned Gryphon level 3 tune has done excellent for my truck. Much better throttle response and all of the other many options/adjustings that can be done is wonderful to have.

 

is that vs stock or vs an "off the shelf" tune

 

I just got the gryphon yesterday and use it on 87 performance which is going to be my regular driving and it was a blast. Today I towed a 4000 lb. boat and the difference was like night and day. I def. recommend it.

I had an Edge and ran the canned tunes for 31,000 miles before getting PHP's custom Gryphon tunes. The custom tunes are well worth the money on my truck. I have put 20,000 on the custom tunes.

 

Its the canned Edge tunes. Until PHP files my custom designed tune I'll have to run the canned for now.

 

I have never use a chip or a program tune, it is my first time using one of these toys.
