Low 15's that is fast.. the VMP tunes should help you alot especially the launching and higher revs, faster shifting will probably put you into high 14's, that is if you dont spin through 1st.

Let us know how your results turn out and how long it took to get your tunes. Im guessing your getting custom tunes correct?

at the lake.. will do

spike... nope..

15.157... 53 degree perfect weather.... done at gainesville raceway on an extremely well prepped track.. launched from idle... no wheel spin... about as good of a run as that truck will ever run stock.

let me guess... you are running a lariat supercrew... that would put you around 15.7-15.9 in the 1/4

im running a regular cab, short bed, flareside, FX2 with 3.73's on stok 18's and stock rubber with the 5.4L. my truck as described by fords description on their website puts your truck at 500lbs heavier than mine. the old addage... for every 100lbs you loose a 1/10th.... if im running a best of 15.1 your 500lbs heavier... best for your truck by those "rules" would put you at a 15.6... give or take a couple tenths for driver error, weather, and track prep.

Ace85... I am thinking that wheel spin will be a problem at the track. i couldnt launch the truck from anything but idle or the wheels would spin and that is with the truck being stock... when justin fixes the open loop (torque management system) problem with these truck i think traction will be a real problem on stock rubber. but i should still pick up a tenth or two after it hooks back up.

Just do a crucial burnout before you line up, that should get the tires nice and sticky! Im pretty sure screw lariats run about 1 second slower then the times you were saying.

I want to bring my screw to the track just to see what it will run. Its got VMP tunes exhuast and intake Im hoping that it will break 16 seconds.

Crucial? LOL

Go around the water pit. A burnout won't help unless you have the right tires.

yeah... i know about the right tires... the stock tires that i got will just burn and then cool imediately. there is nothing that i can do to improve the 60' until i get better tires. but that wont happen as the truck isnt fast enough to be making it to the track every week.

nope... havent installed them yet. I am putting the front coils in today and will be getting an alignment sometime early next week. i will probably have a tank of 87 still in the truck so i will try out the 87 perf, and the 87 tow. then try out the 93 perf

You are too generous to a supercrew! lol On 18's and 3.55 gears with exhaust and edge on level 2 I ran a 16.9

Then I switched to oem 20's which should have made it worse. To run 15's with the 20's I had:

93 VMP performane dyno tune
AF1 3.5" intake
2.5" custom exhaust
4.10 gears
removed tailgate/full spare

that netted me a 15.7@87 at Bithlow

I wish my truck ran low 15's stock!
