Evolution compatibility with my mods......

I'm about to put on an Airaid CAI and an MBRP 3 1/2" SI/SO exhaust on my truck and I was wondering if the Evolution would have any issues running with these mods? I don't see where it would but I figured I would ask first. In the summer I plan to upgrade to the Gryphon w/custom tunes to take full advantage of the CAI and exhaust.

The Evo was designed for stock vehicles and doesn't play well with CAIs. You can probably get away with running level two since, by its nature, it tends to run a bit richer and can compensate for any lean condition caused by the CAI and programmer.

Not only will you run the risk of running lean with the Edge, since it is for stock intakes, but you won't be taking full advantage of the extra air. Do yourself a favor, get the Gryphon, which is the Edge hardware and same canned tunes, but comes with custom tune capability.

If not the Gryphon, then get an Xcal3 from Troyer.

X2! Both choices are good, and so is an XCal from VMP.
