Go out start your truck and without pushing down on the brake pedal see if you can put your shifter into reverse or forward. If it shifts you don't have your interlock engaged. Look in your manual it tells you how to engage it or disengaged.

So what size resistor will I need to make this problem go away??

I have a 03 Screw that the third brake has been out for some time and used cruise just yesterday

I think they mean on the 04+ trucks are like that not the older ones
