Just got my Edge Gryphon from PHP

All I can say is WOW. I am really impressed. I have been running the 93 performance tune and I can really feel the difference. I cannot wait until PHP sends the custom tunes. Team that with my Roush Offorad Exhaust coming in next week and I think I'm going to have a nice setup.

One quick note about PHP. Corey has been nothing but absolutely helpful. They run a first class operation and I could not be happier with my experience so far. I just want to thank them publicly for their great customer service.

I second that

Got my Gryphon on Thursday, installed it yesterday. Much different truck even running canned tunes! Everything I've read about the good folks at PHP has so far turned out 100% true. Great people.

I'm heavily in the market for a tuner as soon as taxes come back and have been reading up on the Gryphon as well as other tuners. Would it be safe to say that the Gryphon with custom tune is the best you can get for these 5.4 NBS trucks? I'm definitely getting one as I feel like I'm missing the boat for major hp gains and mileage gains but I also want to spend my money in the right place you know...

You can't go wrong with a Gryphon or XCal3 w/ custom tuning from VMP or Troyer

Just got my custom tunes this week also. Love it but its not enough lol. I have the 3.55 open differential with 33x13.5" tires. I need to do some other mods to get the power to where I'm satisfied. Don't get me wrong, this gryphon has made a HUGE difference from stock. My next mods in the next few months (if $ holds up) will be Detroit Truetrac differential in the rear, 4.10's and the Dynatech SuperMaxx longtube/cat/ypipe system. After that I think this heavy beast will move pretty good. The shifting is soooo much better with the gryphon. I ordered an 87 and 91 performance tune, and have left it on 91. My city mpg went from around 12 to mid 15's after the tunes.
