help a NEWB with a tuner recommendation

My head is spinning!!

I have an 05 F150 5.4

Put new/bigger tires and wheels on, and want a tuner to help me keep things calibrated. I also want good fuel economy and performance. The truck is stock with 3.73 gears. I might want to put a CAI in the future, and udgrade the exhaust in the future (when needed). For now, I do mostly city driving, never WOT. I want to maximize fuel economy but not have a dog.

The other issue is that ALL the gas here has 10% blend of Ethanol, so any tuning I get should account for my gas blend here in MN.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Troy

There are three custom tuners that are recommended the most on this forum:
PHP
Troyer
VMP

If you read quite a few of these threads you will see that choosing one is based on many different factors. Do your research and if you have questions you should contact each one directly. Asking people which tuner to choose is asking people what color is best or who is the best Enterprise captain! Many different opinions but the only one that counts is your own. You can't go wrong picking from any three of these. I have Troyer tunes and love 'em. My .02 worth.

I have tunes from both Troyer and VMP. Have never had the truck dyno'd, but from the ole butt dyno I can tell little difference between the two. I do think the Troyer tunes have slightly better throttle response than the VMP though. Even my daughter could tell a difference when I switched the tunes out. When I switched from VMP to Troyer she asked if I had done something different to the truck because it seemed the gas pedal was more touchy. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three mentioned though.
