Question can a superchip be sold to another f150

if someone buys a superchip from you will it work on that persons truck??

Yes it can, however, the superchip has a high performance program in it and when you install it on your truck, it takes the stock program out and puts the performance one in your truck. Leaving the stock tune in your programer. So you can essentially sell your stock tune, or reinstall your stock tune and sell the performance tune.

Make sense?

when your stock tune is saved into the programmer the programmer "locks" itself to the vin of the tuned truck, if the tuned truck is returned to stock then the tuner is good to go (as long as the truck it's going to be used on is compatable)
