Bad Programmer?

Does anyone have a bulldog triple gas programmer? Before I found this site I went to a local tire shop and the guy behind the counter said it was awesome. I didn't really feel as if it did what I thought it was going to do. I thought the airaide CAI did more than the programmer did. Did I buy a piece of s#$% programmer or am I expecting to much out of it? I am thinking about going with a Gryphon. Has anyone tried both of these products?

do you have a 3 valve engine? if you do take that intake off asap before you do some damage to your engine

a custom tune will always outperform a canned tune (diablo, xcal3 and the gryphon are 3 of the most popular choices for custom tuning devices)

a programmer on a gasoline engine will not yield the same gains as a diesel so maybe you were expecting a bit much

The bulldog is for stock engines not modified ones with new intakes etc.
